Kosher for Passover

Covenant, Chardonnay, “Lavan”, Russian River, Sonoma, 2008: Deep gold, a big wine just starting on its way but already showing a distinctive personality. Opens with pears, figs and anise, goes on to peaches and honeysuckle and finally, on the long finish note of licorice. Long and complex, far from your standard Chardonnay and well worth trying. Best 2010-2015. Score 89-91. (tasted from barrel)
