Although Covenant winery is more famous for its red wines (there is a cult following for its small-production Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon), this white was a delightful and welcome surprise. There was only one (wine) that everyone agreed was good. Bright and juicy, intensely aromatic, with grassy, herbal notes and refreshing acidity, it was one of the best Sauvignon Blancs that I've tasted this year—kosher or otherwise.
